This notice explains how we handle personal data in TrueMaster.

Data we collect

On registration: email, company name, contact name, phone, VAT number, website, and country.\n\nIn use: username, session, language preference, game and hint content you add, and subscription dates.\n\nOn payment: PayPal processes payment details. We do not store card numbers.

Why we process data

We use the data to create the account, deliver the service, manage the subscription, provide support, and protect the service (for example login throttling). The legal bases are the contract and our legitimate interest in running the service. Records required by law are kept for the bookkeeping period.

Cookies

We only use cookies that the service needs: a session cookie for sign-in and a language cookie (vihje_lang). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who receives data

PayPal receives what it needs to take payment.\n\nEU VAT numbers are checked in the European Commission VIES service.\n\nHosting is provided by a partner in Finland.\n\nWe do not sell personal data. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.

Retention

Account data is kept until the account is deleted or it is no longer needed. Payment and bookkeeping records are kept for the period required by law. The server is in the EU.

Your rights

You may access, correct, and request deletion of your data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman. Requests: support@truemaster.eu.
